Equal opportunities for all and a good working environment

Strategy 2030 states that KI's activities must be characterised by a good physical, organisational and social study and work environment that is free from discrimination, violations, and harassment. Broadened recruitment, equal opportunities and gender equality must be well established within the university. It is part of KI's quality work. There must therefore be continuous and high-quality competence development within broadened recruitment, leadership, work environment, equal opportunities, diversity, and sustainable development. It must be ensured that employment conditions and career paths are equal for all employees, regardless of background. The education provider must include knowledge about gender, power, and equality that is fundamental to equity in healthcare in the courses.

Open and trusting internal dialogue

Collaboration within KI through the unions should enable an open and trusting internal dialogue about KI's activities. This contributes to influence and participation of employees in both their own work situation and KI's in its entirety. Collaboration must also create good conditions for the development of employees skills and a good working environment.
