It is important to remember that if you choose to do this publishing course, and start to use Canvas before the rest of your institution (contact your Canvas Champion for the start date for your institution):

Canvas is fully functional today, but the technical integrations which allow the automatic enrollment of students etc will not be in place until the end of the year. This means that you will need to manually order Canvas accounts for your students (you can do that here)
The level of support available is none or extremely limited
