Module X: Overview
On this page
By placing learners at the heart of the design process and adopting a learner-centred approach, we can ensure that our blended learning experiences are meaningful and effective.
As you think about your own learning activities, keep in mind Dee Fink's (2013) three key sets of decisions mentioned on the previous page on backward design.
- What do you want the students to learn?
- How will students (and the teacher) know if they are learning?
- What will the teacher and students need to do for students to learn?
The video below gives five key tips for designing engaging learning experiences, covering topics such as learning outcomes, assessment, chunking, sequencing, and learner autonomy.
Please answer the free text questions by clicking on Take this survey. You need to answer these in order to be able to claim your badge at the end of the course.
