Insights for a video in a course

Teachers and administrators can see how students have used and watched your videos in Studio under "Insights."

1. To access this function you need to got to the course's specific video via Studio Library >Course Collections.

2. From here, you can see statistics on how users have watched a specific video.

3. You can see how many people have watched the video and how long they have been doing so. You can also gain insights into how students have viewed the video in other courses where you have embedded the video (as long as you are registered as a teacher in the course).

The statistics can only be seen at course level.

Using insights

Insights show how students viewed the video. In the image below, you can see how many people have watched the video and for how long.
You'll also see the difference between how many times the video has been played (number of plays) and how many people have watched the video (unique viewers). And where in the video there is the most or least activity

Insights

You can also look at the behavior of individual students. It shows how much of the video they have watched and how a specific student has interacted with the video.
The image example below shows that the student we chose has seen 75% of the video (Completion rate / Slutförandegrad). In addition, we see how the student has acted on the timeline. Apparently it was uninteresting between 2.30 minutes and 3 minutes.
