The Sustainable development goals are integrated and indivisible from one another as they balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social and environmental.

The 2030 Agenda and its 17 Goals for Sustainable Development are an ambitious commitment of the world community to ensure sustained and economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. At the heart of the Agenda are 5 critical components: People, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership & Planet. The pandemic has in many ways affected the work and progress with the SDGs, this will be addressed more clearly later on in this course.
