Which active learning strategies do you use in your teaching? Do you use the same strategies in the classroom as you would use online synchronously or asynchronously? 

Before we look at strategies for planning active learning in blended courses or online courses we recommend that you watch the video (2.59minutes) from the Center for Educational Innovation - University of Minnesota for some general inspiration for using active learning from a few of the teachers at the university. This is quiz with a free text question where you are welcome to write a few of your own reflections about how you create active learning in your classes in general.
