This platform is dedicated to university teachers from Université de Mons (Mons, Belgium), University of Tampere (Tampere, Finland), Universidad Complutense Madrid (Madrid, Spain), Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden), Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (Madrid, Spain), Haute école Léonard de Vinci (Brussels, Belgium), Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (Copenhagen, Denmark), Université de Bordeaux (Bordeaux, France), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy), University College Ghent (Ghent, Belgium), Universidad de Cádiz (Cádiz, Spain), and Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden) who wish to develop their English language skills, their teaching skills and their intercultural awareness for teaching in the international classroom.

That's 12 universities in 7 different countries!

This online course will provide you with a variety of opportunities to improve your oral communication skills alongside the teaching skills needed for the international classroom, by pairing you with an academic working in another country, from another discipline. Once you have taken the English Language Placement test (instructions about this can be found in Getting started - Initial tasks and preparation) and we know your language level, you will be paired with a colleague and assigned a facilitator. Your tandem's facilitator will become your point of contact throughout the course.
